The many meanings of home lie at the centre of this book. How do people find and form a sense of home in our fast-paced, ever-changing societies? The urgency of this question can be traced through the art of the 21st century, in which themes of home, migration and belonging are addressed in both poetic and direct ways. Home has multiple meanings across different societies. It has long since ceased to refer only to a physical place. Through the lens of art, this publica tion examines the many aspects of home in our globalised and digitised world, approaching the question in an analytical, interdisciplinary and future-oriented way. How can we create spaces of inclusivity in multicultural societies? What role can museums play? A highly topical subject and, in times of massive political upheaval, more urgent than ever
