Journey to the remote village of Marou, Fiji, where clean energy and water systems have been designed as destination artworks supporting a population threatened by a warming planet. Climate Art presents dozens of innovative design ideas for how to build a culturally vibrant post-carbon world in harmony with people and place. The natural beauty of Fijis Yasawa Archipelago attracts visitors each year to its beaches and waters. Yet this idyllic reality coexists with the challenges of a changing climate. As the world passes the climate target of 1.5°C, remote coastal communities must adapt quickly. Climate Art explores the outcomes of a global design competition hosted by the village of Marou to bring forward community-led solutions for resilient clean energy and water systems designed as works of art in the landscape.
